BAHHR (بَحر) means “sea” in Arabic. We started with the water, then realised the problem was identical inland.
How we work
The name
A short Arabic word that anyone in the region reads instantly. It carries the coast without limiting us to it: بَحر also stands for openness and distance.
Made in Riyadh
BAHHR is built in Riyadh: inland, between the Red Sea and the Gulf. That geography is the reason the product covers both worlds instead of one.
The dual-terrain thesis
A jet ski in Jeddah and an ATV outside Riyadh have the same economics: expensive, idle most of the year, hard to rent safely. One platform, one set of rules, six categories.
Bilingual by default
English and Arabic are equal in the product, with real right-to-left layout, not a translated afterthought.
